boy boy boy girl | brisbane family photographer, bec+fo

October 12th, 2011

wayyyyyyyyy behind in blogging again, but this lovely lady can’t wait to see her images, so I’ve kinda gone out of order!!!

I have such a soft spot for boys with long curly hair (after having 2 of them myself!!!). Nate and Hamish were so scrumptious I considered bringing them both home with me….2 more boys wouldn’t make that much of a difference, right?

September 20th, 2011

it’s school holidays, I’m dreaming of our few nights away on the gold coast, but wanted to get something up here before we left.

so school formal time. with a mad men theme. cool, right? these guys were rocking it (whilst making me feel unbelievably old!!). loved all the suits and dresses and how hot is this car? I’m not even a car person, but I fell head over heels!

September 1st, 2011

so it’s only taken me about to month to actually get around to announcing these specials…but at long last, the super dooper, totally amazing, fantasamorgorical (yes, that is exactly how it’s spelt) bec+fo album specials. For the month of September, any bookings made for a portrait session, or a wedding, and if you order the Proof CD (or Digital Files), you will receive one unbelievably gorgeous 10 page album absolutely complimentary.

It kinda goes like this:

Step One: During the month of September, book a portrait session or a wedding with bec+fo.
Step Two: After your session or wedding, purchase the digital files/proof cd/digital negatives/whatever the hell you want to call them
Step Three: Choose what size album you would prefer – 8×8″ or 7×10″
Step Four: Wriggle in agony because you can’t WAIT to receive your order!

The Fine Print:

- your portrait session doesn’t have to be held in September, but for portraits, does have to be held prior to 1st january 2012.
- your wedding must be held prior to 1st July 2012.
- upgrades in amount of pages is available – email me for details.
- upgrades in size of album is available – again, email me for details.
- upgrades to type of cover is available – yep, email me.
- complimentary album is only available if you are purchasing the whole proof cd, not individual files.
- this special cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not transferable.
- this special can only be used for NEW bookings, not existing ones.

If you want any further details, just pop me through an email at youplusus@becplusfo.com.au

YAY, now go ahead, email me and book in your session and take care of any christmas presents!!!!!!

the buckley family | brisbane family photographer

August 25th, 2011

this family is ultra special to me – they live next to my mum and dad. shane and leanne moved there when i was in my teens….and i think leanne was pregnant with alex. we’ve seen their family grow, i’ve done my share of babysitting and I’m pretty sure that jamie was telling people he was going to marry me when he turns 25 (ok, I may have told him he had to tell everyone that…but he only has a few years left!!!)! i consider them my extended family and love them accordingly….in fact my mum said to me just the other day that she would never move….because she couldn’t imagine any other neighbours!

brand new | brisbane newborn photographer

August 18th, 2011

having a newborn is amazing. it’s hard work, and it’s tiring, but sometimes you have to actually pinch yourself that it’s all real and that you actually created this little creature in front of you. those first few weeks are especially amazing. learning the ins and outs of this beautiful little baby. watching them sleep. watching them wake. even the crying thing is adorable. then you blink and realise that they are old enough and big enough to not need that booster seat anymore. and you blink again and they’ve finished school.

those first few weeks though. they are the ones you want to always remember.

meet madeleine. 2 weeks new.

i’ve said it before, i’ll say it again…i love when i get clients coming back to me. i adore seeing kids grow up (all without the heartbreak associated with realising how quickly my own kids are growing up!!!). i met this gorgeous family almost 2 years ago…so it was lovely to see them again as well as meet Lachlan, the newest member of the family.

thanks yin and chris for having me back, and kisses for lucas and lachlan
