You may remember Mitch + Nicole from their gorgeous engagement shoot a few months ago. Well we finally got to shoot their wedding and what amazing day it was! Mitch and Nicole are the cutest couple ever. They’re always smiling, always happy and it was clear to us that they are absolutely adored by all their family and friends. Heck, we adore them too!
After meeting these guys a few times we knew this wedding would be pretty stylish. Nicole did not disappoint. She wore a stunning wedding dress by Darb and awesome red Louboutin heels. They chose to get married at Brindabella Gradens and although we had some rain and the light disappeared really quickly, it made for a wonderful location for their after photos. The reception was help at Gips where everyone had a fantastic time, enjoyed yummy food and danced the night away.
Mitch + Nicole, thank you so much for sharing your day with us. We hope you are having an awesome time in Hawaii and we’ll be in contact when you return.

You may remember Jessica and Chris from a blog post not too long ago. They got married late last year during Queensland’s extremely wet period, and while their wedding day was perfect (and maybe a little wet) they still longed for some sun filled photos. We were meant to do an engagement shoot prior to their wedding but time just got away from us all. So this gave us the perfect opportunity to return to one of our favourite locations (which incidentally went under in the rain last year and hasn’t been useable again up until now) and give Jess and Chris those yummy warm sunny photos they were longing for.

gabi and kurtis were married last friday at gabi’s grandmother gorgeous home situated on a cliff overlooking morteon bay. never was there a nicer location and never have we seen such a close, intimate, personal wedding. gabi kept guest numbers down in order to keep her special day just that…special. it was a day when australia met ireland and together they shared their traditions, beliefs and love. it was perfect!

mitch and nic love to collect vintage items. they live in a house that’s over 100 years old, own beautiful old valuable books and brought amazing antique items to their shoot. They asked us to come up with a concept engagement shoot and so we did! With the help of the gorgeous roberta from green and bloom, we created a dreamy surrounds for mitch and nic to relax, read their favourite books and enjoy each others company. there were plenty of laughs, lots of gorgeous lights and some amazing flowers provided by green and bloom.
Guys, we hope you enjoyed your afternoon as much as we did. Thank you for travelling all the way from toowoomba to see us. we’ll keep our fingers crossed that you get your power back on sometime this week.

for years now we have been pushing our bad jokes and our strange dance moves onto clients to try and get them to laugh. it doesn’t work. ok, maybe fo’s robot dance got a few giggles once but that’s about it. we now have a new weapon to induce laughter thanks to megan and cameron. we can’t tell you what it is (because then it won’t be as funny) but we can’t wait to try it out on our next unsuspecting couple. thanks megan and cam, we owe you !

we dodged a lot to get this shoot done. traffic jams, rain clouds, security guards. they all did their best to ruin our afternoon of rooftop love, but did they succeed? nope, never, no way jose! ok, so maybe the ego overloaded security guard MAY have put a stop to our very cool escalator idea but we got over it and moved on. Tash and Lachlan, thanks so much for an awesome Friday afternoon shoot. We hope you had fun and we’ll be in touch very soon.

yesterday we met with nicole, dallas and falco for our first shoot of the year! nudgee beach was the location of choice and let me just say the light was amazing. we explored the mangroves and paddles in puddles. we found piles of awesome branches and watched as falco made some new friends (although it didn’t seem like most of them were as keen as falco to have a play). nicole and dallas are a gorgeous couple and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding in march.

ahhhhhh, as you may have guessed, it’s your resident mr men author again.
so little miss cute-as-a-button, aka kylie and mr rockstar-with-kids, aka chris met and fell in love. chris proposed on the brisbane wheel thingy (what IS it called exactly? I always call it the London Eye!!). In exactly 6 months time they get married….and we simply can’t wait!!!!
